About

Designed by Charles Pollock for Knoll International, this pair of Model 657 black leather sling lounge chairs (circa 1960s) perfectly blend comfort, functionality and style. The spare frame comprises of polished chrome steel tubing and cast aluminum, creating a sleek and subtly contrasting profile. The seat is a heavy natural cowhide suspended on the frame which has been carefully shaped to form the back and seat sling. Under each seat pad are the original Knoll International manufacturing labels and under one seat is a Knoll International sticker. The leather has a nicely worn-in patina and age appropriate wear. Presents very nicely, and is ready for immediate use. These iconic armchairs are an ideal statement piece for a study, sitting room or den. They would also work well in a hospitality or corporate location, such as a private members club, conference room or executive office. Measurements: 28" H x 25" W x 25" D. Very good vintage condition. Some natural patina to metal that has built up over time. Wear to leather which is consistent with age and moderate use. Repair to 2" section of leather.
